What is OpenSuiteMCP?

OpenSuiteMCP is a source-available chat client for NetSuite’s Model Context Protocol stack. It sits on Oracle’s AI Connector Service, MCP Standard Tools SuiteApp, optional Companion prompt library, and SuiteCloud Agent Skills, and talks to the LLM you bring (Google, Anthropic, OpenAI, or a custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint).

What is the NetSuite AI Connector Service?

The AI Connector Service is Oracle’s remote MCP endpoint for a NetSuite account (OAuth 2.0 + PKCE, streamable HTTP). It is the protocol bridge into that account. OpenSuiteMCP is a client of that endpoint, not a replacement for it.

How is this different from calling MCP tools myself?

You can point Claude, Cursor, or a custom agent at the Connector. OpenSuiteMCP is the productized client: per-account OAuth, per-account tool allowlists, Companion prompts, SuiteCloud skills, BYOLLM, and a chat UI your NetSuite users can actually use. Self-host it in your VPC or try the hosted evaluation at opensuitemcp.com.

Do I need the MCP Standard Tools SuiteApp?

Yes, for SuiteQL, records, reports, saved searches, and related MCP tools. Enable the AI Connector Service, install MCP Standard Tools, then connect from OpenSuiteMCP. Companion is optional if you want Oracle’s prompt library.

Is OpenSuiteMCP open source?

It is source-available under the Sustainable Use License. You may self-host for your own org. You may not sell, white-label, or run it as a paid service for others. Unstacked Apps, LLC reserves commercial delivery.

Hosted opensuitemcp.com is for evaluation (daily limits, 7-day idle chat wipe). Org production belongs on infrastructure you operate. See /docs/self-host.

Your endpoint

Add a custom OpenAI-compatible provider (LiteLLM, vLLM, a corporate proxy). Named slots, live model list from that URL, Speed / Reasoning per chat. NetSuite MCP still goes to Oracle’s AI Connector — this is your LLM path, not an air-gapped ERP.

How custom providers work

List prices are a convenience snapshot from OpenRouter’s public catalog — not a live quote from OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. You are billed on your own API key; OpenSuiteMCP does not resell tokens. Confirm on the provider’s pricing page before budgeting.
